To make money online, so many people just jump right on in even before they are prepared properly. Of course, you know that in order to be a a doctor, a lawyer, a truck driver, a psychologist, a teacher there are many things you must learn before you can "make it"; you don't just jump in completely unprepared.
The same is true with the Internet marketing industry, although there are undesirable people out there who would have you believe it is a "Walk in the Park" and doesn't require any more than the sheer belief that you can go ahead and do it.
And, I must admit, it CAN be a walk in the park, compared to what you might have to put up with in the so-called "working world", punching a time-clock, being a subservient to a "superior" who doesn't have your best interests at heart, but still, there are rules you must adhere to, and pitfalls you must avoid to truly make Internet marketing work for you.
Most people won't make a single dime online, while others will make more in a single month than most people make in an enitre year. "Why is that?" I can hear you ask.
Let us consider the age-old question of the chicken or the egg; which came first? Never mind what I think, whatever argument either of us could possibly make just circles back around to the same conclusion - I have absolutely no clue, and I don't think anybody else does, for that matter.
However, one thing I DO have a clue about and am quite certain of is that to make money online you will first require Passion for your company's products and/or services if you're expecting to make any money.
In this sense, I use "Passion" to mean that you have researched, and you like the company and the services or products. That is where you can transmute that like (or Passion) into your learning process, the work and exhilaration that usually accompanies Passion.
I must say that there are many entrepreneurs online who are so skilled at what they do that they forget the passion, because they can sell anything. I'm mostly concerned with those of you who aren't as knowledgeable with successfully running an online business.
Now, I'm not trying to convince anyone that Passion is all you'll need, because in order to be successful, you also need good website, effective keywords, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, etc. Often, those things are learned from the company you work for - but ignore the Passion and you will greatly reduce your chances of succeeding.
Therefore, if you don't have any Passion for your company, the services and products that the company provides, I repeat: you won't try to accomplish the work which you are being taught.
Internet marketing is usually not very difficult or taxing, but it does take motivation caused by Passion to give you a jump start with a sustained effort so that you don't stumble.
The internet is such an amazing source of information and knowledge about the industry, you would be a fool not to utilize it!
Try to discover a company you believe in. It should have a strong foundation, great products and services that you can promote with Passion! If it doesn't... try another.
It is possible to find a company the fulfills the above requirements.
If you find yourself thinking, "Well, that one sounds pretty good, and they have an AWESOME compensation plan..." you are not acting on your Passion. And remember what I said about the Internet "gurus", like I said before, they can sell just about anything without any Passion, but you would be better off acting on yours.
Note: Let me just say, it IS a worthy goal to have in mine that you can sell anything (like the "gurus".)
Remember, there are many many other steps you need to take before you delve into Internet Marketing, but all of those other steps will just cause you lots of frustrations and headaches, if you don't start by finding the right company services and products to be passionate about.
So remember: find the Passion, and the success will follow!
